Summer Traditions at Desert Mountain

As the temperature rises and the days stretch longer, a wave of excitement sweeps across Desert Mountain Club. Perched in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, the club transforms into a summer paradise, brimming with activities designed to make your sun-kissed days memorable.

This season, members can look forward to a myriad of vibrant activities that cater to a wide range of interests, all set within the stunning backdrop of the desert. Whether it’s the thrill of a golf swing, the joy of an alfresco dining experience, or the camaraderie of a community event, there’s something for everyone.

Here’s a sampling of the summer traditions happening at Desert Mountain.

4th of July BBQ

We have the recipe for an amazing 4th of July: Family, friends, food, and fun! Our members celebrate our great nation we get to call home. Complete with live entertainment and games for the entire family.

Family-Style Wine Dinner

Chef Kyle and the culinary team at Constantino’s are offering another opportunity for members to enjoy our Family-Style Wine Dinners paired with amazing wines.

Show & Go Hike  

Show-and-Go group activities are a fun way for like-minded members to join in on hiking and biking events without pre-registration, fees, or a formal leader. Whether a predefined destination or a spontaneous rendezvous, these are fun and engaging events for all.

Paddle & Pints

Members can float down the Lower Salt River on our guided river trips and discover a scenic and relaxing desert oasis just outside Phoenix. They’ll see wild horses, deer, great blue herons, osprey, bald eagles, and other natural wildlife. After paddling on the river, lunch is hosted at Cider Corps Taproom with an included cider tasting.

Summer Kids Camps 

In order to beat the summer heat, Kids Camps will begin an hour earlier to maximize our camp day fun! Kids will take part in different water activities, indoor scavenger hunts, obstacle courses, a science experiment, kid-friendly cooking classes and more. Lunch and snacks are included each day.

Summer Wine Series

Flow-through wine and food stations and open seating promotes a social and relaxed atmosphere for our members to enjoy a warm summer evening.

Tee Off to Summer

Desert Mountain stands out as the only private community boasting six Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Courses and the 18-hole, par-54 course, No. 7 at Desert Mountain™. Each course is crafted to provide unique golfing experiences catering to players across the spectrum of skill levels.
