Focused on holistic wellness, our 42,000-square-foot Sonoran Fitness and Spa is your destination for inner and outer health. The expansive facility offers fitness, personal training, physical therapy, and a cutting-edge training room with equipment for a total body workout. At the spa, you can immerse yourself in a wide array of lavish skin and body therapies, couples massages, and new organic products for tranquil rejuvenation.
Hiking & BIKING trails
Take in the lush desert scenery in your own backyard while traveling our 25-mile private trails system, which consists of seven trail segments that vary in degree of difficulty for a different experience at every turn. The trail system takes hikers and bikers to the eastern slope of the Continental Mountains, and from scenic points along the way, adventurers can take in incredible valley-wide views.
the RANCH
Located at the heart of Desert Mountain’s private trails system, our western wilderness amenity borders the Tonto National Forest to the north. The 33-acre Ranch offers:
- Open-air gathering space for presentations and musical performances
- 12-stall stable to temporarily keep horses for scheduled horseback outings
- Two corrals to turn out horses and for beginner horsemanship instruction
FAMILY activities
Our monthly calendar of organized activities is designed to keep Members of all ages out and about in the community. Diversions include golf and tennis clinics, bridge games, and book review Clubs, as well as special events like our Independence Day Cookout. At the Sonoran’s Youth Center, children and teens are treated to a variety of exciting programs, from creative arts and crafts classes to theater performances and field trips.
SOCIAL activities
We invite our Members and their guests to participate in the many Club-sponsored events and activities scheduled throughout the year, including culinary classes, sports clinics, wine tastings, and educational winemaker dinners. Other sociable occasions include on-site food and wine festivals, golf tournaments, and designer trunk shows, in addition to our crowd-pleasing special menu nights with live music and entertainment, art shows, and Member-organized events, held every month.
